When my dad was diagnosed with a terminal condition with less than six months to live we are beyond happy that we did not waste any time turning to Keystone Hospice. I had originally thought hospice care was used during your last week or two of life. Was I so wrong.... Read more Every 90 days the person using hospice care is reevaluated to continue the hospice care. One can even graduate from hospice care! 100% of the cost was covered by Medicare! Keystone Hospice provided a Medical Director, a RN Case Manager, Certified Nursing Assistances, a Social Worker, a Chaplin, and complementary therapy professionals such as massage therapists. It was all about living the best my dad could in the last stage of his life. He had his first massage in 83 years! Being a Veteran, my dad was honored with an American flag draped over him as he exited the assisted living facility with two Marines in their blues standing at attention, saluting my dad with Taps playing. A great way to honor him for his service in the Army. Ciarra, the Keystone Hospice RN Case Manager and Shannon, the Keystone Social Worker were both very professional, personable, and kept me in the loop regularly on how my dad was doing and even cared how I was doing! Mike Briggs, Director of Community Relations, was the first person we spoke to regarding Keystone Hospice Care. He personally interviewed my dad and in a very caring & professional manner summarized the services that Keystone Hospice care provides. My mother passed away June 10th, 2021. We used Keystone two different times during the last few years of my mother's life. They were... Read more professional and provided mom with various services to make her last days as comfortable and painless as possible, while answering all our questions with compassionate honesty. If not for Keystone Hospice my memories of my mother's passing would have been so much more traumatic. In addition, I have a Teddy Bear made from mom's favorite fleece jacket offered for free from Keystone. Thank you Keystone. Read less

He rapidly declined and was put on hospice. Keystone Hospice helped me navigate so much during what was already an impossible... Read more time. Cody was our hospice nurse and she was incredible. Every person truly blessed me so much. From administration, nurse, Chaplin….all of it was incredible. They provided my father and my brother, sister, and I with much care. I thank the Lord for bringing Keystone Hospice into my life, helping me navigate a terrible season. Read less
