This is a TRULY AMAZING Hospice! A GODSEND!
After having hired and fired 2 “other” hospice companies {in 1 year} I just didn’t feel my mom was getting the ‘real’ care she deserved to give her any quality of life for whatever time was left. A high recommendation from someone brought me to Auburn Crest, so I hired them, and I can tell you, *immediately my mom actually started looking better*, and still continues to look and act like she still has ‘time’ left to enjoy her life! I am SO GRATEFUL for the loving and vigilant care she is getting in these "sunset days" of her life. RNs: Jo, Dalena, Ken, Chaplain Rick, and Bath Aide: Rachel are (her) 'Angels on earth'!

The Auburn Crest Boise team is incredibly compassionate, fun and regularly goes above and beyond to assist those around them. The social worker, Shannon, allowed me to shadow her and her therapy dog, Dosi, on a visit to a facility. First, her dog is adorable! Second, Shannon is also adorable. Third, I love that not only does their team offer compassionate services like Dosi to their patients, but Dosi also spent time with anyone in the facility that was needing some extra love. Shannon also allowed me to ask an annoying amount of questions. I appreciated getting to know her and Dosi, as well as the Boise team. I loved experiencing first hand how the Boise team loves and cares for the elderly.

I have been volunteering with Auburn Crest Hospice for three and a half years. I have found that they are professional, sensitive, and caring with patients, staff, volunteers, and the community. I love having the opportunity to bring comfort and joy to people in their last phase of life. I enjoy listening as they share their experiences, talking with them about what's important to them, and seeing the smiles on their faces. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to pay it forward. If anyone is looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity, I highly recommend Auburn Crest Hospice.
