Johnel Cound Haigler, affectionally known as Noni, passed away June 28th, 2023 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Noni was born July 26th, 1947 in Birmingham, AL to Johnel and John Douglas Cound. She attended Sydney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL and Sullins College, the University of Alabama and after marriage matriculated at Hunnington College. She is preceded in death by her irascible but loveable husband, LaRue Haigler, Jr., her mother Johnel Loard, …
