Obituary
Zita Vavrin died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 15th, 2024, at the age of 80, after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Robert, and her sister, Jindra Kubovcikova.
Zita was born on Jan. 15, 1944, in the Czech Republic, where she married her husband before fleeing communism in the 1970s. With only a suitcase and a few hundred dollars, the couple began a new chapter …
