Janelle's obituary

Janelle was born in Amarillo, TX on April 17, 1934. She ventured across the United Stated with her family while her father served in the U.S. Army. After World War II, her family moved to Cottonwood, AZ and established “A Farm in a Day” where she met the love of her life. They were married on August 15, 1952. Janelle graduated from NAU in 1955 and began her teaching career of 35 years. She was a resident of Encinitas, CA for 58 years. In that time, she was an educator in the Encinitas School District and at Santa Fe Christian in Solana Beach, CA.

It has always been Janelle’s desire to share the love of God with others. She looked through the eyes of her Father through God’s Word and prayer. On the morning of March 25, 2024, Janelle woke up in the presence of her Savior.

Janelle was loved by her husband, Willard, (in heaven), and her daughters and sons-in-law; Deborah and Don Ward, and Cindy and Michael Sutliff; her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, family and friends.

A family graveside service was held on May 15, 2024 at Eternal Hills in Oceanside, CA.

In loving memory gifts can be sent to Exodus Vision P.O. Box 2563 Canyon Country, CA 91386 and The Nehemiah Fund/Marantha Chapel 10752 Coastwood Rd. San Diego, CA 92127.
