Zella's obituary
Zella Mae Farmer, 68, of Phoenix, Arizona
With broken hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Zella Mae Farmer on February 9, 2026, at the age of 68.
Zella was a woman whose presence filled a room with warmth, laughter, and love. Known for her quick wit and playful spirit, she had a way of making others smile even on their hardest days. Beneath that humor was a heart bigger than words can describe — generous, compassionate, and always ready to give. If someone she loved needed help, Zella was there without hesitation.
Family was the center of her world. She loved fiercely and unconditionally, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Her strength, guidance, and endless encouragement shaped the lives of those she held dear. The lessons she taught — about loyalty, resilience, kindness, and love — will live on in each of them.
She is lovingly remembered by her three children, William “Curly” & wife Annamarie Reid , Sarah Zaso, and Deanna Zaso; her Eight cherished grandchildren Destiney , Carissa , Britney , Whitney, Caleb, Zerena , Giovanni & Jordan ; three precious great-grandchildren Ava , Tamir & Amire ; two brothers, Nicholas Farmer and Joe Farmer along with many nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Zella was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rufus Farmer and Anna Mae Farmer, and her adopted grand-daughter Julian Williams who welcomed her home with open arms.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing her love surrounds us still. Her laughter echoes in our memories, her strength lives within us, and her spirit will never be forgotten. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed — always and forever.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27
