Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, February 23, 2019, Elevation Baptist Church, 4729 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Dr. T.L. Carmichael, Pastor, Eulogist. Elder Rodney Coleman, Officiating. Interment, Rand Street Christian Church Cemetery, 213 Haywood Street, Garner. Tributes, 10 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, prior to the service.
Survivors: mother, Madina L. Gross of the home; father, Ronald Battle of Raleigh; brothers, Adreese Caleb Smith, Zion Selah Battle, Jahsiah Barack Battle, El Shaddai Ali Battle and King Hebrew Battle all of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Gross of Raleigh; maternal grandfather, Michael Gross Sr. of Raleigh; paternal grandparents, David Allen of Rocky Mount; maternal great grandmother, Whilhelmina Gross of NY; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
