It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Zachery Barnthouse, who was born on July 18, 1988, and left us on April 8, 2023. A man of many passions and interests, Zachery will be remembered for his kindness, love, joy, and happiness. His radiant personality touched the lives of everyone he met, making him a true hero and best friend to many.
Zachery is survived by his mother, Susanne Prater; sister Allison Barnthouse, father, Freddie Barnthouse; step father, Thomas Roach nephew, Cooper Greer brother-in-law, Cory Greer; grandmothers, Judy Banks and grandfather Bill Banks; grandfather, Randolph Prater, He was predeceased by his grandfather, Fredrick Barnthouse.
A true fan of the arts, Zachery's favorite music included Pink Floyd, and he loved watching TV shows like Survivor and Big Brother. He was a huge Wrestling fan, His favorite movies were Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Night at the Roxbury, and Son in Law. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. Zachery's favorite pastime was playing Call of Duty, and he also enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Cooper.
Some of his greatest accomplishments include becoming an uncle and encouraging Cooper to develop his artistic talents through drawing. His favorite vacation spot was Tennessee, and his favorite color was green. Zachery's legacy of kindness, love, joy, and happiness will live on in the hearts and minds of those he left behind.
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate Zachery's life as a happy, chill, beautiful soul with an amazing presence. He had a profound impact on the lives of those around him, teaching others to smile and find joy in the simple things.
