Zachary's obituary

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our Zachary LeGrand Retter, 51, has passed away of natural causes. He died peacefully in his home on November 10, 2022

Best said by his older brother Scot, “Not enough words can describe what he meant to everyone. A great and caring son, brother, cousin, nephew, teammate, uncle, veteran, in-law, and friend. A Legend and Warrior in everyone’s eyes. The lifeline to our family get togethers, parties, and good times”.

Zach was a very loving, fun-hearted soul who never met a stranger. Those who knew him, where loved by him. He loved life and always treated everyone like family.

Many loving extended families of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. As a passionate dog lover, Zach also considered, Atticus and Roxanne, to be members of his family, that will miss him dearly.

There will be a visitation for friends and family members on Friday, November 18, 2022, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day…. unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.”
