In Loving Memory of Yvonne Marilyn Francis-Moore
June 12, 1948 - January 25, 2024
Yvonne Marilyn Francis-Moore, born in Nassau, Bahamas, to Nathaniel Francis and Mary Simmons, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving a profound impact on the lives she touched. A cherished mother, dedicated grandmother, and friend, Yvonne embodied the compassionate example of Christ, radiating love, kindness, and generosity.
In the 1970s, Yvonne ventured to the U.S., where she crafted a beautiful life in Los Angeles with her daughter, Olivea. Yvonne loved finance and was a loyal member of the Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles family from 1981 until her retirement in 2012. Yvonne's frequent travels home to the Bahamas reflected her deep connection with family, especially her force-of-nature mother, Mary “Mama”, adoring siblings, nephews and nieces.
Yvonne was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known for her kind and gentle nature, as well as her unwavering love for her family. Yvonne’s compassionate spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her. In addition to being a devoted mother, Yvonne was a dedicated friend who always put the needs of others before her own. Her selfless acts of kindness and willingness to help those in need made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Yvonne’s love for life, and her warm personality will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A memorial service to celebrate Yvonne’s life will be held on Saturday February 10th 2024. Yvonne is survived by her loving daughter, Olivea Holley, her devoted son-in-law, Duriel Holley and her greatest blessing, grandson Easton Holley.
