Yvette Colleen Davis
March 5, 1973 – December 7, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvette Colleen Davis, a woman who is loved by all and touched the lives of so many. Yvette died on December 7, 2024.
Yvette was born on March 5, 1973, in Denver, Colorado to Joyce Lindeken and Ray Gonzales. Yvette is survived by her sister, Tina, brother, Mark and stepbrother, Ian. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother who dedicated her life to her family and those around her.
After graduating from the University of Kansas, Yvette married the love of her life, Tony Davis, on August 30, 1997. Together, they raised three incredible sons - Reed, Connor, and Trent. Yvette was a devoted mother who poured her heart and soul into raising her boys, instilling in them her Christlike values of love, kindness, compassion, and determination.
Yvette was known for her steadfast love and faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a great leader that would bring together her Bible study, Bunco groups and those she worked with. She was the first person to “stand in the gap” and pray, edify and lift up a friend hurting or in need.
Yvette had an infectious smile, welcoming personality, infectious laugh and unwavering love for others. She had a way of making everyone feel special and cared for, and her impact on those around her will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Yvette's spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her example of how she walked with Christ and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
May she rest in peace, knowing that her impact in her world will never be forgotten.
