Yukiko's obituary

Yukiko (Yuki) Hale – Born March 11, 1933 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan (South of Tokyo)
Died January 7, 2021

Came to live in Kentucky after she married Roy Hale in Tokyo, Japan, on September 18, 1958.
Yuki was a loving friend to all who met and knew her. Many times she referred to her “good friends and neighbors”. She was an avid Bible reader and read and studied her Bible every day and would talk to all she came in contact with about God’s promises for the future.
Her love for the Bible caused Yuki (and later Roy) to be baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1973.
She was with the Purcell Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses until her death.
After Roy died in 2002, Yuki remained in her home in Purcell with her cat(s). She became the neighborhood cat-watcher, always leaving food and water available for visiting cats.
Yuki continued to care for herself until her death. When she was given a meal or small gift, she would always repay with a gift of cookies or candy, maybe even a pound cake!
She was loved and appreciated by all who knew her.
