Yolanda's obituary
After graduating Yolanda enlisted in the army for a few years and then got out. Yolanda lived in Germany and California for some time until finally moving back to Chicago, IL. Yolanda started a career with Consolidated Container Company. Years went by and Yolanda decided to settle in a beautiful home in Joliet, IL with her mother Enid. Yolanda was enjoying life and her family. Throughout the years Yolanda has lost people very close to her. In 2005, Yolanda lost her her mother. Yolanda father had died in 2013.
In 2015, Yolanda decided to move to Osceola,IN to be closer to her brother Big Al, her sister-in-law Cherrymae Bowie, and two nieces Keiana Maria Bowie and Jalyn Bowie. In 2017, Yolanda brother was laid to rest. Yolanda was very sad, confused, and alone. She didn’t understand why God left her here by herself, but she knew it was for a reason.Yolanda continue to live her life. Yolanda made plans with family members to go to Belize to see family members she has not seen in a long time. Yolanda also wanted to move to California to be around her family. Yolanda didn’t get a chance to achieve those goals. Yolanda had a bigger calling and it was her time. She was laid to rest on 02/11/2019. Yolanda is resting now smiling down with her mother, father, and 2 brothers around her.
Yolanda is leaving behind 3 nieces: Aneisha Bowie, Keiana Bowie, and Jalyn, 2 sister -in-law: Cherrymae Bowie and Angela Bowie and a bunch of aunties, uncles, and cousins.
