THOUGH, A RUDE SHOCK! THANK GOD FOR A LIFE WELL SPENT. THE FIRST TIME I MET YOU FACE TO FACE DURING THE 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY, YOU WERE A MOTHER PAR EXCELLENCE. WE CANT QUERY GOD. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE. I WILL MISS YOUR CALLS, YOUR CHATS AND EVEN YOUR KIND GESTURES. SLEEP WELL MAMA TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE. 'SHALL WE GATHER AT THE RIVER...' FROM: ODEBUNMI TAIWO IBIJOKE. YOUR TENANT AT ODOSENLU( VICE-PRINCIPAL)
ON BEHALF OF THE PRINCIPAL, VICE-PRINCIPAL, MEMBERS OF STAFF AND STUDENTS OF ALARO COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL, WE REGISTER OUR HEARTY CONDOLENCE. MAY MAMA'S SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE. MAY GOD KEEP MAMA'S CHILDREN IN PEACE. SIGNED : VICE-PRINCIPAL

My Auntie Yemisi as we fondly called her was the most dynamic, vibrant, vivacious woman I have ever known. The youngest daughter of Mama Gate, she worked hard to stand out and make her presence known amongst her big sisters. Beautiful, diligent, and not afraid of hard graft, she prospered immensely and set up all her children to be the best versions of themselves. She had the most welcoming heart, and was a mother to all of us when my Mum, her sister, passed away 3 years ago.

My full tribute will come later, but for now, I want to comfort my beloved cousins Tokunbo, Gbenga, Busola, Niyi, Bimbo & Wale. Mummy has gone to rest, and is reunited with dear Uncle Gbodi. Through you all, she will never be forgotten, and our love for her will always be in our hearts. Praying for comfort for you all at this challenging time. Love you all.

Iya Gbodimowo, its sad you left at the 11 hour of our expectations from where we laboured together. You were one of the fighters. Thank you for going the length of taking care of my daughter when you were together at Pedro before moving to you place in the Estate. She was pained when I told her. Your love knew no creed. My prayer is God should care for the family left behind. To your memories all will go well with businesses left. Adiue my Co-Pensioner.

Mrs Gbodimowo was a darling sister and friend. We worked together in the staff department, head office and shared lots of pleasant memories. She was also my iya ile as my late husband and her late husband both came from odonselu in ijebu ode. Through her I became a member of the YWCA on the local church in odonselu. We also attended the Celestial church of Christ before coming back to our roots at AVMCC in ikeja. May her gentle soul find eternal rest 🙏 I pray that God gives the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss 🙏
May her gentle soul rest in the bossom of the Lord till we meet and part no more!
It was so sad to hear exit of a wonderful woman of God but we know as much as we love her, Almighty God loves her the most and with this we have taken heart been sure she is laying peacefully in the bosom of God. I wish all the family fortitude to bear this great loss and may almighty God continue to uphold all she left behind. Rest on till we meet to part no more .
I am still in shock of Mrs. G’s passage. We still shared WhatsApp forwards the day before as she was always online and cracking jokes about my forwarded messages. We take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life and non can question God. May her soul rest in peace and may God comfort her loved ones in Jesus’ Mighty Name🙏🏽

I always look forward to her daily admonitions on WhatsApp, and the calls she puts through to ask after my mum. She'll be sorely missed. May God rest her beautiful and sacrificial soul. I love you, even in death.

This is shocking news but we thank God for Mummy's life! She was so kind and sweet to us when we bought asoebi for my wedding, 15years ago that we became Family!! She gave me very good advice for my marriage on inlaw management, before I got married which have kept my Husband and I together, enjoying our marriage and relating with my inlaws in wisdom and love.

Mummy, E se Ma! We miss you so much already and pray that the Lord would grant you eternal rest in Jesus Name.Amen.

Bimbola Onasanya( nee Fasehun).

Words cannot express the shock i am experiencing. Mummy you will be missed, and you were greatly loved not just by your late husband and children,  but all of us who you adopted as your children.

I remember how you were instrumental during my wedding and the weddings of my siblings, that all the Aso-Oke's and Aso-Ebi's arrived ontime and at a reasonable price. How you were there through out all entire process...what a great mum you are.

Imani's grandma Sun Re....

May Allah forgive her shortcomings and be with the family.
