Yetunde, it saddens my heart to write this…

May your soul Rest In Peace and may our good Lord rest your soul in his bosom. Amen. You were such a delightful and amazing human. I will always remember your laughter and your positive disposition to every situation… You live on in Jason.

Yetunde, I still can't believe you're gone, it's like a bad dream. Yetunde was only of the kindest people I know, always willing to help and finding solutions to things. We go along way from our ISI days, we created so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. You fought so hard for Sickle Cell Community and your legacy would carry on. I love & miss you oremi.

I had the opportunity to work with Yetunde on a few occasions at Connected, including putting together a training program. Even during extremely challenging and stressful conversations, Yetunde was always calm, composed, and positive. She always treated others with respect and kindness, and went above and beyond to help other Connectors succeed. She is truly missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to have worked with her.

My deepest condolences go out to Yetunde’s family and friends. 

I should be writing on your great achievements and celebrating together, thanking God for what he has done and where he's taking you to, but no one can question God, this is really a sad moment for me, and I'm in deep pains. 

I will forever celebrate you even in death because you are victorious in all ways. Sleep on my dear sister, till we meet to part no more. 

How I wish it's a dream!!! 

I remember when Yetunde first started at Connected, she took the time to set up one-on-one Zoom calls with each and every one of the managers at the company. During our call, she was upbeat, kind, and thoughtful. Most importantly, she genuinely listened. I really felt she took every single word I had to say to heart.

Throughout our time working together, Yetunde always struck me as a strong and determined person, and I didn’t even know the half of it. I deeply admire the love she has inspired and continues to inspire for family, friends, co-workers, and beyond.

She is blessed to have such a loving family and we in turn are all blessed to have had her in our lives.

Rest in peace Yetunde. 

I feel extremely blessed to have known and worked alongside Yetunde. Our first interaction was a call when Yetunde applied for the position at Connected, I fondly remember coming off that call feeling energized and inspired by our conversation. Yetunde was an integral part of our team and we bonded over her time spent in the UK, we frequently joked about the England v Scotland rivalry! I saw Yetunde as more than a colleague, a friend. 

My thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family and I will take the true inspiration Yetunde provided and her teachings in my own daily life. 

This was very sad news to hear,  as Yetunde has made an amazing impact for both myself and colleagues at Connected. I was so sorry to hear about her passing. She was such an encouraging and engaging person who shared her positive energy and outlook while working to help guide and support you making you feel comfortable and confident in your goals.  You will be greatly missed, thank you Yetunde for your kindness,  joy and laughter you have given me. My sincere condolences to her family.

I feel very lucky to have experienced the lively, bright, and dynamic personality of Yetunde. She was an amazing colleague at Connected. There was a time when we were confiding in each other our secret-but-not-so-secret love for sponsored products that Instagram convinced us to buy.  It was one of our earliest conversations and it felt like she had been my friend for ages.  Yetunde's positive energy and radiating enthusiasm will be deeply missed. I'll miss her attitude towards living an unapolegetic life the most (which means buying whatever makes you happy, including a blendjet from Instagram).  Thank you Yetunde for being the reason so many of us smiled, laughed, and found joy during our fond moments with you.

We are so sorry to hear of this loss. Yetunde was a constant source of optimism and compassion at Connected, where she worked for the last 8 months. I remember one particular moment during her first few weeks at Connected when Yetunde needed to make a very difficult presentation. It was in front of the whole company, and there wasn't much time to prepare. But Yetunde handled it perfectly, with complete grace, and she made everyone comfortable and even got some laughs! Yetunde then followed up with everyone shortly after to check-in and make sure everyone was on the same page. This is one story of many about what it was like to work with Yetunde. From reading many of these messages, it sounds like she had a very warm and positive impact everywhere.
