Dearest John, Lydia, Sean, Mandana, Kamelia, Vicente, Gio and Yasmin’s family & friends,,
Although we hadn’t seen each other in years, Yasmin and I remained connected on social media. I met Yasmin at Navy Federal. She was so incredibly easy to love and adore. She always spoke joyfully about Lydia, Sean, John, Mandana, Kamelia, her Father, and so on.
It is true that heartbreak is the price we pay for love, and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. While your lives may never feel the same, your hearts will no less rejoice at many delightful memories.
In the weeks, months, and years ahead, I offer my prayers, strength and God’s blessings to each and every one of you.
I will never forget your dearest wife, Mother, sister, and friend, our Yasi Joon.
With my deepest sympathies,
~Marla
(I hope this poem brings solace and comfort as it's done for me);
And if I go,
while you're still here...
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there.
