Wookess's obituary

Wookie was a hidden treasure. When you got past his rough exterior there were countless moments of brilliance, compassion, humor, wisdom, and most of all love. He was surrounded by friends and family early Tuesday morning when he passed. We should all remember the brilliant light that he had inside of him. That light that was so powerful, and genuine that it perpetually showed through the cracks. His love for music was unparalleled, his love for people was even greater. We will forever miss our brother, our companion, our friend.

Wookie was born in Tampa as the second child of Deborah Davis. He lived various places in his life Healy AK, Portland Or, Provo UT, Salt Lake City UT, Tampa FL and is loved like family in every place that he has ever chosen to settle down for a moment. Wookie is survived by three brothers and one sister. There will be a memorial in Healy on Saturday Nov 16 at the Totem Inn, and a second memorial in Salt Lake that is TBD. There are also plans for a remembrance in Healy this coming summer which all will be invited to. The family would like to thank everyone everyone for their kind words and support. May we always be as loved as much as Wookie loved us all.
