Wookie will be dearly missed by many I am sure but none more than his boating community on the Nenana River in Alaska. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and his vast network of friends he always seem to consider and treat like family. He was a true one-of-a-kind… we’ll see you downstream Wookie 🌊💕

My condolences to my extend family, the Davis family. Wookie was a great cheerleader on anything I did musically. When I first started playing I was riddled with self-doubt about playing in front of people and my technical ability. The Davis brothers as a whole uplifted me into something I could enjoy my whole life with an ethos that has not budged in 25 years. For that I am eternally grateful.
I’m also grateful I got to make it out to Oregon raft with Wookie, as that wasn’t on the menu in Florida. It was a rough ride, but I did not fall out of the raft. Everyone else was terrified, but I knew I wouldn’t fall out. We made sure everyone else did hahaha. I’m grateful for this experience with him because it allowed me to connect with a piece of nature that I had not considered while reconnecting with a friend that had moved long ago.
I am grateful for our time. I am grateful for sharing my grief although I can’t be there physically
Love you Wookie
Dave
