I am so glad I got to know Winnsie.  She was an avid reader and could always recommend good books for me.   We both loved to watch Steven Colbert and Jon Stewart when I was visiting.  She enjoyed cooking and I remember savoring  delicious Moroccan Stew and Italian sausage soup she used to make.   She loved animals and graciously accepted my little Pug dog in her home.   One day we went to Costco together and took my Rocky and told everyone he was her emotional support dog so we could get away with it.  I felt so bad for her when she lost Thomas.   I was lucky to be on the receiving end of her kindness and generosity!  I'm thinking of you.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
