Kat's obituary
Wilma Kathleen Rhoades “Kat” of Malvern, passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 73, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born to the late Vernon and Wilma Lutrick on January 14, 1951 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Kat was a beloved wife to her husband, Roger Nelson, a supportive mother to her four children, a cherished grandmother to all of her grandchildren, and a wonderful, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rene’ Rhoades Pharr, a son, Roy Rhoades Jr., her Parents, Vernon and Wilma (Walters) Lutrick, her brothers, Stanley Lutrick, Robert Lutrick, Mark Lutrick, and her sisters Pearline Conelly, and Cheryl Lynn Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Nelson, her sons, Brian Rhoades and Richard Rhoades of Malvern; a step son, Rusty Nelson, of Vallejo, California; her grandchildren, Scott Williams and Devin Williams, of Malvern; Justin Rhoades, of Fresno, California; and Dominic Hershel, of Kelseyville, California; her great grandchildren, Braden, Hayden, and Asher, her brother, Randy Lutrick, of Malvern; her sister Marylin Grossman, of Lake Tahoe, California; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kat was known for her caring nature, beauty, and ability to bring love and laughter to those around her. She was the best grandma and mom, always prioritizing her family's happiness and well-being. Kat enjoyed life to the fullest, finding joy in spending time with her loved ones and her dog Jo Jo.

In her spare time, Kat found solace and fulfillment in her faith. She was a member of Living Waters Full Gospel church, where she found a sense of community and spiritual nourishment.
Wilma Kathleen Rhoades will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A ceremony to honor Kat’s life will be held at Living Waters Full Gospel church, in Malvern, on Saturday, February 10th at 1:00pm.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Arkansas Cremation in Little Rock, Arkansas.
