Willis Edward McEwan Jr. passed away on February 16, 2022 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Willis was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 13, 1957 to Willis and Irene McEwan. He was predeceased by both his parents. He is survived by his two siblings, Michael and Susan; three children, Kelli Self (Ken) of Lomard, Illinois, Christopher Wayne Fahse of California, and Willis Edward McEwan III (Lynn) of Citrus Springs, Florida; his four grandchildren Diana Whipple and Brian Whipple, of Lombard, Illinois, and Joseph Crespo McEwan and Julia Grace McEwan of Citrus Springs, Florida; his best friend, Violet "Tweety" Utosh, of Sarasota, Florida; and by many other family members and friends who were very special to him. 

Though Willis had many ups and downs throughout his life, he never forgot the importance of family.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Good Earth Crematory in Sarasota, Florida followed by a private interment at Little Saline Cemetary in Stone Fort, Illinois.
