It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Willie Wiggins, a caring and devoted individual who graced this earth with his kindness. Born on April 15, 1952, Willie embraced the joys of life and the love of his family until his passing on January 6, 2026.

Willie was best known for his compassionate nature. This was exemplified by his active involvement in his community, especially through his coaching of youth sports. Willie made it his mission to provide guidance and mentorship to the younger generation, a task which he approached with fervor and delight.

One of Willie’s most noteworthy accomplishments was his 25-year tenure as an instructor at GHS. Throughout his years of service, he touched countless lives, shaping the minds of students with his wisdom. Willie’s commitment to fostering a love for learning in young minds was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Willie leaves behind a precious legacy. He is survived by his proud son and two loving sisters, who will carry the memory of his warm spirit and the lessons he imparted. While we mourn his loss, we remember and honour the remarkable impact he had on the world.
