Willie Lee Trammel passed away on November 8th, 2021 surrounded by his wife, Lena Trammel, daughters, Angie and Jackie Trammel, son, Kevin Briggs, and grand/great grandchildren (Jasmine, Erica, Bray’Lyn and Aa’Laylah).

Willie was born in Mentone, TX on April 30th 1947. Loved by his mother Agatha Brown Trammel and father William Trammel. He spent over half his life on the farmlands with sisters, Jackie and Dorsey
and brothers William jr. and Ford.

Willie or “Cowboy” earned his named from his countless rodeo shows and wins. In 1991, Willie visited Oklahoma to perform in the Cowboys of color rodeo. He then meet his future wife (Lena Sango), creating a marriage that would last 23 years.

We gather in honor of his memory as one who loved God, his family and the Lord’s church. We will never forget his resolve to stand for right and win as many souls as possible for Christ. We will strive to remember and emulate for the gift that he was to all of us.
