It is with a heavy heart that my father in law passed away after 8 days of being in an induced coma after suffering from a massive heart attack on January 31, 2024. We/the family thought pops had life insurance but it was later discovered he did not. Arrangements were made at Winnfield Funeral Home in hopes that everything would be taken care of, however only $5000 was released towards his expenses. It has now been 42 days since his passing and the funeral home is calling stating unless the remaining balance of $8375 is paid in full they will have to send him to the indigent cemetery where they throw bodies away that aren't claimed. We don't want this to happen we want somewhere to go visit put flowers release balloons in his memory please if you could help with anything it would be greatly appreciated. Pastor Willie D Smith was a god sent angel who opened his house to anyone in need or needed help getting on their feet, he preached the good word of Jehovah to anyone in passing, pops was a beautiful soul inside and out. Contribute
