Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jones family during this difficult time. May they find comfort and peace in the memories they shared with Mr. Jones. He will be deeply missed

From your long-time and beloved neighbors

The Reed family of Boston

Willie was a brilliant leader, and advocate for housing and community development in Boston, whom many of us admired and learned from.  My sincerest condolences to Pam and the extended Jones family.
My condolences to Willie's family. I first met Willie when in 2005 at TCB which ultimately he became a mentor to me and taught me affordable housing.  Willie had changed my career and life direction.  He was such a mentor with his knowledge and willingness to teach.  My heart goes out to Mrs. Pam Jones, Larissa and the rest of the Jones family.  Rest in Peace Willie.

My deepest condolences to Pam and the family and friends of Willie Jones.  He was an exemplary, unique and morally guided person who gave unselfishly to his community, his friends, and to the quest for peace and humanity without restrictions.  He was a philosopher with deep convictions who could guide you to finding answers to your important questions.  He was a tireless champion of the underserved.  Rest in peace, my dear friend.

Ethel Gordon

As someone fortunate enough to have had his career and life indelibly improved by Willie's mentorship, my most sincere condolences to Pam, Larissa, Derik, and Demakis. Willie was brilliant, selfless, and utterly committed to the cause. By the time we met, he had likely forgotten more about community development than I will ever know. Every site visit was akin to a masters thesis and he was enormously generous of time and spirit despite crushing demands on his time and considerable discomfort stemming from his health challenges. A true legend who will be sorely missed.
I was very sad when I heard the news of Willie's passing. He was a good man who had a vibrant spirit. He was loved and will be missed by all.
