Born 1964 in Cleveland Mississippi that's the day that the Lord has blessed me with the most incredible wonderful loving mother that anyone probably would ever wish that they had I love my Mom very much I miss her very much 😢 she loved me unconditionally he taught me well she always made me my favorite food specially banana pudding she always gave me advice she always made me laugh when I feel sad when I speak about my dad she said your dies in about a place one day I go there with him and let him know that you miss him she was just a super mom I told her every day and should be Mother's Day as I got older I kept it away sometimes I feel that I didn't spend enough time with my mom I love her very much and I will miss her she's with the Lord now if anyone who really didn't know my mom damn it's a beautiful person and a beautiful soul I love you Mom.

Oh Ma, not sure where to begin. I remember visiting you on weekends and almost every summer vacation. I loved being able to ride my bike all day long (then you’d yell “Kristen Lauren” for me to come back inside), eat hush puppies and drink so much sweet tea until my stomach hurt! I really enjoyed helping you with your garden and truly appreciate you teaching me everything I needed to know on how to snap green beans off the stems lol I never got a chance to tell you how much fun I did have spending time with you. Thank you for being my Ma and loving me the way you did. You always wanted the best for me and I promise to make you proud. I appreciate the memories I have and will cherish them forever!!!! ❤️🙏🏾

My prayers and deepest condolences to the Martin family, my heart is with you!! Ms. Mae, Maesie, as my mom and I called her was an angel. I remember meeting her when I was a kid, maybe in the 5th or 6th grade and she just adopted me, treated me as her own grandchild. We shared so many great memories, from dancing, to family dinners and shopping trips. I loved her so much and am so grateful to have known her. I’ll miss her support, counsel, laughter, and delicious food. I think about her homemade chicken salad at least once a week!! I’ll miss her calling me on my birthday, and getting to call her on her birthday. Maesie was the absolute best and I’ll continue to cherish every moment we shared and the great relationship we had. To her kids, grandkids and great grandchildren, thank you for sharing her with us, we’ve been all the more blessed because of it.

My deepest sympathy to the Martin Family on the loss of Mae. I am a member of GFCC and got to know Mae by volunteering at Pearl Street Food Pantry. Mae was a kind , compassionate, giving woman! She loved her children, grandchildren , siblings and church family! She shared many stories about the grandchildren, children and siblings! When you met Mae she embraced you with her warmth and loving heart!At the pantry ; she packed those grocery bags and organized the refrigerated meat with purpose and dedication . I shall miss conversations with Mae, her wisdom , laughter, feisty spirit and loving heart! Mae was an angel on earth and is now promoted as a heavenly angel! Shedding many tears for her loss and again sending deepest condolences to the Family.
