It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Willie Zimmer, who had a heart attack and left us on December 15, 2024. Born on June 14, 1938, in Stuttgart, Germany.  Willie owned a wig shop on Cottman Avenue and custom created many exceptionally beautiful wigs for his customers.  He immigrted to the United States in his early 30's. His warmth, generosity, and strength was an enduring source of comfort to those lucky enough to know him.  As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life he led. Willie's memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Willie leaves no surviving family.
