From the age of 8 months- 1 1/2 yrs, Mikey went through 4 cribs because he was so strong and energetic.
Some of his favorite stories when he was little were Bible stories, Dragon Tales, Franklin, and The Magic School Bus.
He had a favorite dog named Pebbles, whom he would sneak into his bed. Mikey loved race cars, his dad would take him to the races with his 2 sisters and mom, and he even got to see his favorite race car driver, Jeff Gordon.
Mikey played soccer, basketball, and loved driving his go-cart. During the summer, he would help out in the church with the seniors and he loved to dress up.
Mikey had his own drum set and played drums in the church.
His Uncle Sam would take him and his family to the beach every year, and he not only loved many sites, but he loved the stunning water. One of his best trips, he didn't even want to leave! It was when he went to Washington D.C, saw the sites, and went through the large museum.
Mikey loved to do pranks with dad and people he cared for. Mikey and his dad enjoyed father-son functions at school.
Mikey was also a great cook and very helpful in the kitchen.
He hardly ever missed Mother's Day by telling his mom "Happy Mother's Day" and always giving hugs to her, either through digital or in person.
Mikey was great with young people, he always gave encouragement to Amiyah and Hanna with some kind of prank or silly gesture.
One thing he did was talk about how much he loved his children and wanted to be better for them.
We will miss you till we meet again in God's presence. Love you, Mikey!-Karen Adkins(Mom), Steve Adkins(Dad), Hanna Sears(niece), Amiyah Wilson(niece)
