Dave's obituary

William David (Dave) Wraxall 67, of Ontario, Canada, unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his home, January 1, 2022-New Years Day.

Dave was born May 13, 1954, in Manchester, England, the 1st son of the late William 'Bill' and Gladys Wraxall, with 3 siblings.

Dave was the beloved partner of Antonia Lau for the past 10yrs.

He was a Loving, hardworking Father to his two daughters. Zoe Wraxall Millar and Stacey Wraxall Smith, and a devoted grandfather to his seven grandchildren. Liam, Tylah, Kean, Riann, Lukas, Oliver & Fynn, all whom he truly loved dearly.

Dave is survived by his sisters Joan and Gwynneth and his brother Ian...and many beloved  Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Dave grew up in Manchester, in the Wythenshawe area. Having the Top score in his school, he went on to attend College and received a Degree in Telecommunications. At 20 he found his gift for Sales and Marketing and later became the Number One Salesperson for Xerox in England, selling commercial copy machines. He sold one to himself, was paid the Bonus and promptly quit and opened his 1st Print Business at 23, in Wigan and his 2nd Print Business at 26, in Sale, Manchester.

Dave fell in love with Karate at 23, achieving 4 Black Belts and taught Tournament Karate, as a dynamic Sensei for over 30 years, to 1600 students... for Free. He felt the youth in England were neglected and wanted to offer his skills and his ability to guide them to greater life achievement. To this day, many students still honour him as their Beloved Sensei, who inspired them to great heights... not only in Karate, but forever in their lives.

We mustn't forget another of Dave's Passions---Koi. He absolutely loved them and built a huge pond for them in his backyard. He not only loved them, but knew everything about their best care, best features, best conditions and how to build the best ponds for them.

Dave immigrated to the greater expanse of Ontario, Canada in 1988, seeing more opportunity for his family there.  He worked for several large Corporations as a Sales and Marketing Manager, then in the '90's founded his own Hi-tech Company, called 'Warp Ten', and within 6 months the company was worth over $500 Million on Nasdaq, with over 50 employees, in downtown Toronto.  A few years later, withdrawing from the company, Dave retired at 42, to enjoy his newfound love -Fishing... And as a Professional Fisherman, winning 1st and 2nd place in Tournaments, with a great fondness for Muskies, Bass and Carp... he traveled a bit through North America, to 'catch and release'.

He then founded his own fishing lure company, called 'Black Mamba Fishing Systems'-and with his brilliant knowledge of the Sport, he produced a Bait product that would easily 'out-fish' every lure on the market... He got it into Sporting stores, to Walmart and Infomercials...and he shared his knowledge like a pro, in many 'How-to' Videos on YouTube.

He had a brilliant intelligence, with the uncanny ability to learn quickly and apply the knowledge... and to take a small idea and make it into a much bigger reality.   He was big in size, stature, voice, opinions and most of all his will and determination... To achieve...his contributions to the World.

In the past few years, he devoted himself to supporting his partner's deeply researched goals of building safe, Sustainable Housing and Grow Domes, to benefit those seeking affordable housing, to build communities, to ease homelessness, and aid families in areas worldwide, after disasters... to easily build homes, schools, medical centres and feed the world in a much more productive way.

...All this in an altruistic manner, to benefit mankind in the highest ways, with Habitus Building Systems, Inc...to leave the world better than when he came...for more information, you are welcome to visit www.HabitusBuildingSystems.com

In his lifetime Dave traveled several times back to his beloved Manchester... to Ibiza, Cuba, a Cruise to the Bahamas for Vacations, Florida to Fish, Flying into small islands in Northern Ontario to fish some more, many cities on the East Coast for his work... and later on to Arizona, Las Vegas, Southern California and Northern Scotland to visit Findhorn...

Dave will ALWAYS be remembered for his huge stature, big personality, his sharp wit, big voice, his brilliant mind, and his passion for life.
