William's obituary
William was born on April 8, 1943 in Roxton, Texas. He was raised around Paris, Texas and married his wife in January, 1977. Together they had 3 children. William loved playing dominoes with friends and family, listening to
gospel music and attending gospel singings. He was a faithful follower of Christ and a dedicated prayer warrior.
William was preceded in death by his mother DeLeon Wilkins Donaghey, his father William Chester Wolf, brothers Howard Sturdivant and Jimmy Donaghey, and his sisters Mary Donaghey, Nancy Teeter, and Nancy Dalton.
He leaves behind his wife Katie Wolf of Gatesville, TX, daughters Faith Moore of Van, TX and Connie Griffith of Eustace, TX and son Ronnie Wolf of Winona, TX, his grandchildren Paul Moore Jr. of Emory, TX, Ian and Jackson Griffith as well as one great granddaughter Nakota Younger. He is also survived by his brother James Donaghey of Alvord, TX (wife Donna) and 2 sisters Betty Kelly of Ivanhoe, TX (husband Butch) and sister Susan Sherrard of Payne Springs, TX.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at Faith Fellowship Church in Athens, TX on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 2 PM.
Due to the current pandemic masks will be required by all in attendance for the duration of the service and we ask that social distancing be practiced.
