I have known Bill for almost 70 years, starting at Grant Elementary School. We started a baseball team called "The Bald-Headed-Bums". We also played basketball at Longfellow Jr. High School. I had the honor of being at Camp Ravencliff sharing the same cabin with Bill. It was one of the best experiences of my life. After graduating at Harry Ells High School, Bill was the "glue" that kept 65 years of class reunions going. Bill will be forever in my thoughts.

I have known Bill for over 40 years and always considered him a good friend. We had many cases together over the years and he always litigated with honor and dignity. He never blustered, boasted or threatened. He was a rare lawyer who preferred to listen, rather than talk. He represented his clients zealously, but always with class.  Our bonds included both being Vietnam-era vets (him USMC, me USAF) and, more importantly, my older son was a Force Recon Marine.  Bill was a good friend and a true gentleman. I miss him already.
