Bill's obituary

William U. Good, 84, passed away peacefully with family on November 11, 2025.

Bill served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and 35 years at the Rawsonville Ford Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

He was the son of the late Urban and Miriam Good and brother to the late MaryAnn Savikcus, Steve (Vickie) Good and Doug (Bonnie) Good. He is survived by children Bill and Holly (Lonny) along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill enjoyed his breakfast and lunch outings with the guys. He loved to boat and fish the Inland Lakes and had a passion for building and racing RC (radio controlled) boats.

Bill was a master at scroll saw work. He created countless heirloom items, including Christmas card boxes, ornaments, reindeer and shelves, plaques, and crosses. Bill loved Christmas and would have many Christmas trees each season - many featuring his beautiful wood ornaments. Bill always carried a stash of small carved hearts in which he would place the restaurant server's tips. He was a true artisan. Along with his scroll work gifts, Bill consistently donated to St Jude.

Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be scattered in one of Bill's favorite and memorable places.
