William's obituary
The fish have breathed a sigh of relief, and the weeds in the garden are already plotting their takeover—because William Trunk, master fisherman, green-thumbed legend, and all-around wonderful human, passed away on March 28, 2025.
William was many things—a devoted father, a proud grandpa, a champion of the great outdoors, and a firm believer that any problem could be solved with a fishing pole in one hand and a good story in the other. He filled our lives with laughter, love, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting.
Let’s gather to share stories, shed a few tears, and maybe even tell a fish tale or two in his honor. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to a conservation or gardening charity—because we all know he’d want the fish to keep biting and the plants to keep growing.
