Bill did a lot of work for Dominic, but I really got to know Bill when he was working on my house in Norwich in 2015. We had ice dams and he replaced our roof and helped take out a couple of windows. He would stop in and chat with us. I was going through chemo at the time and he wanted to make sure that I had enough protein. He brought over some venison for me. I have to say it was delicious. He did other work for us through the years. Right before he passed, he was helping Dominic renovate his dad’s old house. He would finish for the day and he would join me out front in one of the gliding chairs. He loved talking about his grandchildren and how he enjoyed teaching them how to fish and explore the great outdoors. He talked about his love for hunting and riding his motorcycle. I remember our conversations fondly and still can’t believe he is gone.
I was left speechless when I heard this news. Billy was a great kid growing up and good friend always there to help me with various projects. He will be missed by many. Until we meet again, rest in peace my friend.
