William "Bob" Slater, 80, of Hazlet, NJ, passed away on February 07, 2023 at 8:20 in the morning. He passed away in the Hackensack hospital surrounded by his friends and family. 

William was predeceased by his mother Helen Slater and father John Slater. He is survived by his wife , kids Dennis (Christina), Brittany (Colin) and Ethan (Mariah) . His extended family and friends will miss him deeply.

William was a man who would put others first. You would always find William on vacation, relaxing or drinking a beer on the porch. He really knew how to enjoy the gift of life. William was a chemical engineer in NYC for 30 years and was in the Air Force for 10 years. William graduated from Rider University when he was 28. 

William was a private person who wanted private services.
