Growing up, the Sinton family was like family to me. They always welcomed me with kindness and warmth. Through my closest friend Bobby I was introduced to his older brother Billy. Despite being quite young at the time, like 5 or 6, he always treated me with kindness and respect from the start. He loved his family and I saw it mostly toward his brothers as I visited. He showed me what a good role model should be. Even into adulthood, when I had the chance to see Billy he was always full of life and wisdom, always taking time to listen and offer encouragement.

I’m heartbroken to hear of his passing. Billy made a lasting impact on me, and I’ll always be grateful for the way he showed up with grace. My thoughts and prayers are with Bobby, Donald and Debbie and the entire Sinton family.
