Not physically, but spiritually, the morn of Saturday the 9th.
In response to "How did you first meet William?"
Oh my goodness, laughter and pretending to 'sing on the front porch' with Matthew backing him up. Good times. Many of good times on "The Porch".
In response to "What did William love to do?"
That his Son was his hero.
In response to "What did you learn from William?"
His size and his soft grateful spirit.
In response to "What made William different from most people you know?"
Matt will always remind me of this amazing and beloved Man of God. A fellow gospel Bluegrasser whom we sang together many of precious times. Thank you, Matthew, mission well done, his Son. Lulu? The sparkle in his eye. Matt, he was *so proud of you, Brother. You sacrificed as a MARINE to keep your word to your ailing Father. Well done thy good and faithful servant. The *last earthly time I got to hear him "Shang" to me was 16DEC2020. His verbal message to me will never fade and We Will get to sing Together again in Glory. I truly loved this man who deeply impacted my life. As does his One Living Son, Matthew. For near twenty years ..we Are Kin. I can hear him say, "God Bless You, ReeNay, gal". The rest, God knows, saw and heard. The last song The Trio of Us was, "I've got a mansion, just over the hilltop, in that sweet land where we'll never grow old. And some day yonder, we will never more wander, but walk on streets that are paved with gold." amen, POPADOC, amen.
Is your heart right with God?
This precious soul would hope so.

I Will Sing Again With You, In GOD'S CHOIR.

PSALM 91
In response to "What always reminds you of William?"
Love you Uncle ❤️ Rest in Heavenly peace
