Obituary for William “Willie” Michael Sears

William “Willie” Michael Sears was born on October 10, 1997, in Baltimore, Maryland, to George “Billy” Sears III of California and Amy Thompson of Pennsylvania. He departed this life on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 27 years, 3 months, and 28 days.

Willie was a devoted father, a loving husband, and a cherished son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved children, Tristan Sears and Sarah Sears; his wife, Jacquline Grubb Sears; his loving sister, Jenna Sears; his mom, Crecia McCarthy; his stepfather, Timmy McCarthy;  his father Billy Schubert Sears; his stepmother, Stephanie Schubert Sears; his mother, Amy Thompson; and his aunts, Carol Ruth and Robin Phillips. He will also be deeply missed by a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Willie worked as a delivery driver for Amazon and was known for his kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic. His warm spirit and loving heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held in his honor by the family on February 15, 2025, in Manchester, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home 1704 North Main St London, KY 40741; 606-864-2151 to assist with funeral expenses.

Willie will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
