William's obituary
It is with heavy hearts and fond remembrance that we share the passing of our friend, William Osborne, who left this world surrounded by love in the company of memory. A true collector not just of antiques and stories, but of friendships -- he built a life stitched together by laughter, loyalty, and quiet moments well spent.
Bill had a deep love for the simple pleasures that made life rich. He community at the East Shore YMCA, joy in well-worn book, and comfort in the warm booth of a neighborhood diner. His loyal dog, Jimmy, was always by his side -- equal parts companion, confidant, and fellow couch critic. Jimmy was the one who truly got him, often more than most people did. He leaves behind his beloved brother John Osborne, along with a circle of friends who become family, proving that love is not measured in lineage, but in presence.
In his memory, we invite you to honor him in the ways he cherished most: pick up a book and get lost in its pages, support your local YMCA, or sit down at a diner and savor the kind of meal that comes with a side of conversation and a bottomless cup of coffee.
