Bill told me a story about a job when he was young on Cottage Court. He pedaled an ice cream bicycle around the neighborhood. He hated that he had to tell Dad that he was $10 short his first week, because his friends talked him out of free ice cream. I remember watching him & my sister Dixie play 4 Square there. Bill always protected me, and didn't let anyone tease me when he was around. When we moved to the country in Sidney, he used to help me do my chores sometimes. I remember he would walk out to the corn crib before school sometimes, and collect corn cobs for our coal stoves, which was my chore. He was a lot of fun, and liked to play sports, fishing and camping. I have a lot of great memories with my oldest brother ❤️.
