RITTER, William Ray Jr., (Bill), 37, of Henry, Virginia, loving husband, father, son and brother was tragically killed on Saturday, August 31, 2002, in a vehicle accident while in Mexico on business with Dana Corporation. Bill is preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Joe Baty. Bill is survived by his wife, Sarah; three daughters, Christina, age 16, Keara, age 12, and Bekah, age 10. Bill's remaining family members include his parents, William R., Sr. and Maria F. Ritter of Henry, Va.; his three sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Frank Dowie, Roanoke, Va., Monica and Daniel Dooley, Roanoke, Va. and Eyvette and David Robertson, Henry, Va. His wifes family sharing in this loss include his mother-in-law Elsie Barnett, Mebane, N.C.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Charles Richard, Roanoke, Va., Henry and Darlene Barnett, Tazwell, Va., Jim Barrick, Hillsborough, N.C., Mary and Daryl Spradlin, Mebane, N.C., Billy and Barbara Barnett, Warriormines, W.Va. and Carl and Beverly Barnett, Warriormines, W.Va. Bill will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2002, at Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service. Oakey's Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
