WILLIAM R. “WILD BILL” ROBERTS of Lupton, passed away April 10, 2013 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw at 70 years of age.

He is survived by his wife Judy who he married on December 3, 1965 in California. Three children, Steven Roberts, Douglas (Kimberly) Roberts and Cynthia Roberts. Also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with two brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Roberts was a structural iron worker and a member of Union Local 25 in Novi. He was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Navy for seven years. He was also a member of the Hale American Legion, VFW, Masonic Lodge, F.O.E. and the Skidway Lake Moose. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Private cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at the Hale American Legion at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 21, 2013. Arrangements handled by the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home.
