Bill was a one of a kind fellow and we loved him dearly.  He will be missed.

Dear Sue, Reba, Richard, and all the rest of the family,

Bill was always such a wonderful person. He was a delightful model (at least to me) of what a parent should be - involved, supportive, and caring.

I'm so sorry I won't be able to attend the service.  Hugs and love to all of you!

-Susan

Words will never ease the loss you feel when losing a husband, father and a good man that Bill was.  I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.  Mary
Dear Suzanne and all the family.   I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  So many memories over the years, with WBR, Couples Club, Halloween parties, and lots more shared activities, too many to enumerate.  Bill always had a smile.  Hugs and love to all.   Kathy

The memories I have of my grandpa will always be cherished. From instilling a love of jazz in me (I still want to have jazz on in the background-especially when I cook a holiday meal), to his sense of humor (his chips and quac singing hat plate!), how he always had so many drink options and would serve them to me in a glass with ice (that was SO cool when I was a kid!), and so many other little things that made him HIM.

One time I answered a question he asked me with “yes, sir!” He chuckled and said “just call me grandpa! Or Bill!” That still makes me smile. And my husband’s favorite quote of his was from our wedding. He told us, “hugs and kisses-every night.”

You are very missed, Grandpa (or Bill!). Thank you for all the fun times and memories and for loving all your grand girls well! 💗

We will always cherish our times with Bill: so many dinners together, sharing stories in the Writer’s Group, enjoying the Shakespeare Festival. Bill was a gentle soul and a gentle man . We will miss him. We already do.
We've been friends for decades, singing in choirs together, sharing meals, or a couple of glasses of wine.  Bill was one of the kindest guys I've ever known, always willing to give a helping hand, and always with a smile on his face.
I first met Bill in a hallway in Summit Vista where he introduced himself as Wild Bill. I called him that until I noticed no one else did. When I asked him about that, he said he knew people would remember him with that name. Tom and I soon became good friends with Bill and Suzanne, sharing dinners 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗍𝗋𝖺𝖽𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗅𝗂𝖿𝖾’𝗌 𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗌. We found ourselves in many classes, including lots of “Reggie“ classes, where Bill often displayed his quick sense of humor and sharp intelligence. Bill, Tom and I wish we had more time to spend with you. But we will always keep our memories of you in our hearts.

Sue,

I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  I will always remember when Bill retired in the early 90's and started taking my morning aerobic dance class at CUMC.  He always made me smile.  I also loved that after Mark passed away and I got into storytelling, that Bill watched all my stories and reposted them on his facebook page.  I am so glad I got to see him (and you) on my visit to SLC in August of 2024.

I know that you will miss him, but I hope all the many happy & fun memories of him will make you smile.

Love,

Marianne Sheely
