William's obituary

William “Bill” J. Nagle (80) of Litchfield, NH passed away peacefully in hospice surrounded by his family on March 30, 2024. Bill was known for his vivacious laugh, gift of gab, and sense of humor. He made friends wherever he went. Originally from Mission Hill in Boston, he graduated from Mission High and Boston State College and held many different careers – as a science teacher and printing salesman, ultimately retiring from the USPS in Nashua, NH. He was most proud of his role as a father. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Stonehouse) Nagle, his daughter Jessica, her husband Edward Ferman, and his grandchildren Ian and Eva Ferman. The oldest of a large family, he was pre-deceased by his parents William and Anne Nagle, his sister Patricia “Nicky” Nagle, and is survived by sisters Karen Hennebury, Mary (Ralph) Sabatino, Barbara (Michael) Mazzone, Elizabeth “Lily” Jauquet and brothers Charles “Chucky” (Ann), Edward (Kathleen), John, and David (Kathleen) Nagle as well as many nieces and nephews. 

A 12pm mass and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024  at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage, 51 Seaport Blvd., Boston, MA.

The family is hosting a luncheon at Para Maria in the Envoy Hotel, 70 Sleeper St, Boston, MA. 

Parking is available at 75 Sleeper St., Boston, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Legacy Trust of Southern New Hampshire Health https://legacytrustnh.org/.
