Bill Miranda died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born in San Francisco CA on March 13, 1937, he graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1955 and from the California Maritime Academy as a marine engineer in Vallejo, CA in 1958. He traveled the world on merchant ships before being drafted into the United States Army. He arrived at Fort Lee, Virginia with his new bride, …
