Bill, or Caballero, as I always called him, meant so much to me. From being in a Bowling league to following and going to Angel games with him he was always a barrel of laughs. When I heard of his passing it truly broke my heart. Thank you, Caballero, for always being a friend and for making this world so much more enjoyable just by being part of it. I met Willie when my sister, Maggie, started dating his stepson, Kevin. To most this might sound like a distant relation, but from the moment the Fields and Martins connected, Willie and Laurel became part of our family. They both completely embraced our family as their own, and I am so fortunate to have spent Thanksgivings, Christmases, and countless other celebrations & good times with both Willie and Laurel. He will always be remembered as the life of the party, who always had a kind word to say, a funny story to tell, and a strong drink to share. I look so forward to continuing these traditions with Laurel, while we hold Willie dearly in our thoughts.
