William's 50th Birthday Party
William...aka"My Brother".. William was not only my Boss/Co-Worker but my friend! He was a wonderful friend and a wonderful Boss and one whom I will always hold dear to my heart. It is often said that when the loss is hard it means the love was big! William was loved, he was a kind soul that was easy to be around and you enjoyed being around him. I will forever hold precious treasured memories in my heart of the years we worked together, enjoyed talking about Survivor episodes and Sports together and so many years of supporting each other through personal and professional challenges and successes together! He was a man of integrity, values and loved his family and friends. I will miss you "My Brother" now and always.........
Like many, my great memory of William was his laugh.  He was always up for one of my many stories and would laugh even when I did not deserve it.  I miss him very much and will always remember the good times we had together.
William, you will surely be missed. I'm in shock, but realize you are at peace and I will always remember our time we shared at Safeway.
I considered William not only a colleague, but a friend.  We would share stories of our lives and growing up in the grocery industry.  I miss him every day as do we all.  I find myself wanting to pick up the phone and share a story or success he made happen.   My heart goes out to all his family and friends.  He was truly a good person and one of a kind.

I miss William terribly, especially our frequent phone calls to talk "shop" about the Safeway Norcal business, the Fighting Irish, or my beleaguered Buffalo Bills and their latest blunder!  I often find myself reaching for the phone, or "teams", to call him only to realize he has moved on to a heavenly place.  I see him around me all the time, through Hostess displays and sports related innuendos.   He was always always a great resource with a wealth of information and knowledge.  Always available, always there for me!  He is TRULY missed.

William was such a great co-worker, and an asset to our team.  He always had a positive attitude and made me laugh often.  He will be missed tremendously.
I had the honor of meeting William at an informal Safeway reunion dinner and I remember thinking this man is full of charisma and quite the character- he was the life of the party and kept me, Laurel and Rick W laughing the entire time. Although I only met William a few times some of the moments I will hold onto forever are you two attending my wedding on your birthday ♥️♥️ and all the conversations he would have to bear hearing when we would talk for almost an hour about work and life, then he would give us his two cents! William your legacy will live on forever 🙏🏽 Rest in peace ♥️
Words just can’t say enough, but I hope your new puppy brings you comfort during this time of sadness.
