Bill's obituary
William "Bill" Jones, 67, of Clinton Township, MI, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022. Bill was supported by the love of his wife & family throughout his illness, and surrounded by them in his final days.
Bill was born on January 25, 1955 at Holy Cross Hospital to William and Shirley Jones in Detroit, MI. After completing his education in Germany while assigned to the 7th Engineer Brigade, Bill went on to work in Research & Development for US Army TACOM in Warren, MI and retired in 2010 after 36 years of loyal service. Bill was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his daughters and grandchildren, and always tried his best to support them.
Bill was also a passionate Harley-Davidson enthusiast and could often be found riding his bike and finding adventure when he wasn’t at home or enjoying a game of golf.
Anyone who knew Bill knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He was also a dependable and trustworthy friend, with an exceptional sense of humor. Bill was predeceased by his father, William Jones, and his sister, Kathy Pletcher. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his daughters: Michelle (Jonathan) Carmona, Tina (Nick) Reetz, Jessica (Chris) Keller, and Lindsay (Tony) Parrish-Hope; his 6 grandchildren: Chandler, Brendin, Caden, Alaina, Preston, and Mackenzie; and his brothers: Bob (Beth) Jones, and Ken (Stefanie) Jones. He is followed in death by his mother, Shirley Jones (12/28/22).
