Went and saw Pillar (Christian rock band) last nite in Dallas,TX.,they had a documentary on the band,and in the Tulsa show they had a film clip of Russ in it for 5 seconds up front of stage,please let Sonya know it should be released early December 2025

Working together at Long John Silvers as teens. He was always easy to see over the fryers when working a busy Friday. We had lots of fun. He will be deeply missed. Sondra I'm so sorry for your and your girls loss.

Sondra, Amanda and Allison, I’m so sorry and am praying for you as you grieve and face a new future that is no doubt different than you had ever envisioned. He was a wonderful dad and we have nothing but fond and warm memories of him. Sending you hugs and continued prayers.

My condolences to Rusty's family.  I never met him in person but I always searched for him at shows and festivals. I was going to go up to him and introduce myself and thank him for post all the videos he did.  I loved his concert videos, some concerts I could not attend I would go to his youtube and watch them. Thanks for keeping me updated on all the shows you so kindly provided. I will meet you one day Brother....

We would of loved to have been with you today. We sang a couple of Rus' favorites Songs this past weekend, and honored him. We love you Sondra. We are lifting you up daily in prayer. He was such an incredible blessing and friend to us all. Will miss his smiling face at our shows.

Sondra, with a heavy heart my condolences, to you and your family, Russ and you are the kindest, friendliest couple, I've ever met. The last time I saw you both was at The Pillar show in Tulsa. I waved to you guys in a packed church. And Russ shouted to me' I, knew you would be here'. And you smiled and waved. A great memory I will cherish forever. GOD BLESS!

Our heart is broken over this loss. Rus was such a good guy. I will miss our daily visits. He was a great sounding board and a good friend.

I was lucky enough to be the one there when He came into this world. Rusty was a model child, but his curiosity got him into many discipline situations, especially with Rob, Ric, and Terri. He was always happy with a smile on his face. When he met Sondra- he felt complete, telling me, many times he had found his soul mate. Then when Amanda & Allison came along he was over the moon. Also when Bryce and Matthew joined the family he said I'm so lucky to have such great guys for our girls. While a huge piece of my heart is missing, I will forever be blessed to have him as my son.
