We played many a Trivial Pursuit game at Grandmother Gretchen's house with him on holidays. He knew the answer to everything as his interests were so vast. I knew the welcoming, big teddy bear side of him. Ready with a heart felt hug when you walked in the door. Always a smile on his face and the booming laugh after a bad joke or convincing me to eat a lot of Wasabi after telling me it was really mild. Uncle Bill was a great guy. Richard and I send condolences and love to all of the Maxwell family.
Bill was an amazing and unique character. He made holidays so much fun with his great sense of humor. He always sent the most interesting emails, reflecting his interest in many things. He was one of those wise people who lived life fully and loved his family deeply. Heaven is being well entertained now. Deepest condolences to his lovely family.
